Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Zlaark for using Identty. Please read them. By creating an account or using Identty you accept them.

Last updated 4 November 2026 · Version 2026-11-04

Agreement

Identty is a product of Zlaark, a sole proprietorship of Kanish Kumar ("Zlaark", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Cookie Policy together form the agreement between you and us. If you do not agree, do not use Identty. This is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and needs no signature.

Eligibility and your account

  • You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Do not create an account for someone else without their permission, or impersonate anyone.
  • You sign in with one-time codes sent to your email, or with Google. You are responsible for your email account and for everything done through your Identty account. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • One person, one account. Do not sell, share or transfer your account or handle.

The service

Identty lets you keep a professional record (profile, experience, education, skills, achievements, credentials), build resumes and portfolios, track job applications, practise interviews, share a public profile and, if you freelance, manage services, inquiries, proposals and client workspaces. Features may change, and some are labelled as coming soon or in early access. We may add, change or remove features. We work to keep Identty available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and we may take it offline for maintenance.

Your content

  • You keep ownership of everything you add ("Your Content").
  • You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce and display Your Content, only as needed to run Identty for you and the people you choose to share it with, and to keep it safe. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from routine backup copies.
  • You are responsible for Your Content. You promise you have the right to post it, that it is accurate and not misleading, and that it does not break the law, anyone else’s rights or the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Public pages are visible to anyone with the link and may be seen or copied by others. Only make public what you are comfortable sharing.
  • We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it to train third-party AI models.

Verification and badges

A badge or status such as "verified" shows the verification state recorded in Identty for that item. It is not a guarantee by us that a credential is genuine, that an issuer endorses it, or that a person has the skills they claim. Anyone relying on a credential should check it with the issuer, and you must not mark or describe anything as verified unless it is. We may remove or change a status if we find it was wrong.

AI features

AI features generate suggestions automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete or biased. Review every suggestion before you use or publish it; you remain responsible for it. AI features have usage limits so the service stays fair for everyone, and we may change or withdraw them. Interview feedback and ATS or job match scores are practice aids and do not predict the outcome of any application.

Freelance tools

Proposals, quotations, inquiries and workspaces are tools between you and your own clients. We are not a party to those arrangements and do not guarantee work, payment or quality, do not take a commission, and do not handle payments between you and your clients. You are responsible for your contracts, taxes (including GST where it applies) and legal compliance. A proposal accepted through Identty records your client's acceptance, but whether it is a binding contract depends on the law and on what you agreed.

Rules of use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, do not misuse Identty, attempt to access data that is not yours, test the security of the service without permission, overload it, scrape it at scale, or use it to send spam. We may remove content and suspend or end accounts that break these rules or the law, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

Our intellectual property

The Identty name, logo, design, software and content we create belong to Zlaark or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Identty as these Terms allow. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the service, or use our brand without written permission. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

Third-party services and links

Identty relies on third-party services (see Sub-processors) and profiles may link to other websites. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for them.

Fees

Identty is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans we will tell you in advance, price them in Indian rupees with applicable taxes shown, and publish any extra terms and refund rules for them. You will not be charged without your agreement.

Suspension and ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & data, and we will erase your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access, with notice where practical, if you break these Terms or the law, if your account is a security risk, or if we are required to by law. If we end your account without a breach on your part, we will give you a reasonable chance to export your data.

Disclaimers

Identty is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, secure or error free, that content (including other users' content and AI output) is accurate, or that it will help you get a job, a client or any other result.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Zlaark is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, income, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of Identty. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for loss, claims and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms or the law, or your infringement of another person's rights, to the extent allowed by law.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first at [email protected] and we will try to resolve the issue informally. If we cannot, the courts in India with jurisdiction will decide the dispute. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or your right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

General

  • If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given up the right to do so later.
  • We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a business change, with notice to you.
  • We may update these Terms. We will give notice of material changes (for example by email or in the app) and update the date and version above. If you keep using Identty after the change takes effect you accept it; if you do not, you can delete your account.
